1. Maintain blood pressure and cholesterol within normal limits

2. If you have diabetes make sure the disease is well controlled

3. Take your medicine as directed by physician

4. Reduce sodium intake to less than 1.500mg/ngay

5. Implementing diet rich in fruits, vegetables, low-fat dairy and whole grains


6. Limit alcohol and do not smoke

7. Reduce excess weight and regular physical exercise.
